FutMexNation is here to bring you a recap about our favorite extranjeros  and what you might have missed out on this weekend.

Serie A

Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano had himself a game where he contributed a goal in his team’s 6-1 thrashing against Sassuolo. Apart from his goal, Lozano won four duels and had 15 precise passes along with a 79% passing accuracy. With this victory Napoli moves into third place with 70 points and has qualified for the Champions League. Napoli have a slight opportunity to fight for the Scudetto but it will be a tough shot for them as AC Milan leads with 77 and Inter Milan has 75. Napoli would need both teams to lose their final three games while Napoli would have to win the final three in order to win the league.

Eredivisie

Erick ‘Guti’ Gutierrez and PSV stayed red hot after winning the KNVB Cup as they defeated Willem 4-2 over the weekend. Even with this victory they still trail league leaders Ajax by four points and with three league games left it’s looking like things might come down to the wire. Erick ‘Guti’ Gutierrez played the full 90 minutes in the victory. He would have 71 precise passes along with a 88% passing accuracy, one clearance, two blocked shots, five duels won, and eight long passes. An impressive showing considering he played as a left center back throughout the match. Still, his efforts throughout the game were recognized as he would end up getting Man Of The Match for his performance.
