Apertura 2017 Liguilla Where to Watch: Liga MX Quarterfinals, Ascenso MX semifinals, and the Femenil Final

The playoff season is here with not only the quarterfinal ties in Liga MX’s liguilla, but also the semifinals of Ascenso MX’s playoffs, and the return leg of the Liga MX Femenil final between Pachuca and Chivas.

All the ties in the Liga MX Liguilla this week have a chance to be compelling. In the obvious derby, El Clasico Joven, a Club America side rumored to leak significant contributors to Argentine buyers this winter and mired in a potential funding crisis with the Televisa-involved FIFA trial going on is looking to get past their local rivals, who think this might be the tournament for a title run. Leon-Tigres pits two of Liga MX’s streakiest, most ruthless, title-expectant sides against each other. Monterrey-Atlas could prove an early test of whether the Superliders‘ quality is enough to overcome a Rojinegro organize collective and the false security of being a Superlider given the playoff format of Liga MX. And there’s also the central Mexican tie between Morelia and Toluca which would involve two goalscorers capable of scoring goals in bunches in Raul Ruidiaz and Fernando Uribe.

Elsewhere, the Apertura 2017 Liga MX Femenil title will be decided on Friday night at Estadio Chivas when El Rebano host Pachuca. And in Ascenso MX, promotion-eligible Celaya and FC Juarez look to continue their push to an Apertura 2017 title and take their first step toward a Liga MX place in 2018-19. But they have to go through Alebrijes de Oaxaca and Tampico Madero first in these semifinal ties.

Here is where you can watch all the action. All times are given in Eastern Standard Time (UTC -5). All Liga MX and Liga MX Femenil listings are valid for the United States only, while Ascenso MX listings are listed for Mexico only.
