Everyone is back in action in the Americas after the international break, with the NWSL Challenge Cup coming to an end and the regular season happening (perhaps at the same time!) soon.
Primera División Femenina (Costa Rica)
Karina Santana was subbed on for Angie Rivera at the start of the second half and scored the lone goal for Suva Sports and Zoe Tapia played all 90 minutes in a 4-1 loss against Herediano on Sunday, April 20th. Suva are in eighth place on the table with no points, three behind Pérez Zeledón and 19 behind first place Alajuelense. Their next match is at Alajuelense on Saturday, April 23rd.
Liga Nacional de Fútbol Femenino (Guatemala)
CSD Suchitepéquez’ (Perla Morones and Verónica Jiménez) was awarded a 3-0 victory over Chimaltecas when they protested having similar uniforms to Chimaltecas during a match that was supposed to have taken place on Saturday, April 9th. The result gives Suchitepéquez’ 20 points, pushing them seven clear of second place Club Deportivo Xelu.

Katie Johnson was subbed out for Amirah Ali in the 55th minute and Jimena López was subbed on in the 83rd minute for Veronica Latsko in OL Reign’s 3-1 win over San Diego Wave FC on Thursday, April 14th. Johnson contributed a shot and completed six of fourteen passes, while López completed one of her two passes in the match.

María Sánchez was subbed out in the 52nd minute for Nichelle Prince in Houston Dash’s 2-1 loss to the KC Current on Friday, April 15th. Sánchez completed 13 of 24 passes, created two key passes, and contributed a shot in the effort.

Diana Ordóñez came on for Taylor Smith in the 77th minute in the North Carolina Courage’s 4-2 win over the Orlando Pride on Saturday, April 16th. Ordóñez completed six of seven passes and assisted on Debinha’s goal in the 89th minute.
