Southern Methodist (Celiana Torres)’s March 7th match at Temple was “postponed due to COVID-19 related issues within the SMU women’s soccer program,” according to a press release. The game has been rescheduled for March 17th in Philadelphia. SMU’s March 9th match against Rice “has (also) been canceled due to COVID-related issues within the Mustangs’ program,” according to a press release.
#4 Texas Christian (Emily Alvarado)’s March 7th match at Baylor was cancelled “in accordance with Big 12 Conference soccer game interruption guidelines,” according to a press release.
The United Coaches Association released their weekly rankings, and there is still plenty of representation in the Top 25. UCLA is still #3, while TCU, Virginia, and Oklahoma State remained in the listings while University of Southern California and Washington joined them from being unranked last week.
