Eight of the nine Liga MX games will be on offer on television this weekend in the United States, as the teams look to establish themselves as contenders and continue to make their positive start. There are also still seven undefeated teams to start the Clausura, with the Sunday, August 6 clash between Atlas and Toluca, a battle between two of those teams, looking like a potential feature match of the round.
There’s also an early relegation battle which finishes off Jornada 3, when Veracruz entertain fellow strugglers Puebla.
But the Apertura 2017 feature match could be the Apertura’s first major derby of the new season, with the Clasico Capitalino set to take place on Saturday, August 5.
There is also one featured Ascenso MX game on TV in the USA to be played on Friday, August 4, when Venados host Dorados de Sinaloa in Merida.
