#AskCesar: Round Table Pizza, relegation and Scottish mascots

Welcome to another edition of #AskCesar!

In case you didn’t notice, we have officially moved this weekly article to Thursdays. SO, if you want to take part in the next one, be sure to send me your questions on Twitter every Wednesday! I select three for a video preview and then answer the rest here.

Let’s see what we have this week.

It looks like Thistle is allowing far too many goals so my guess is that they need a scary and terrifying presence in the backline that can help avoid relegation. My solution? Move the team’s mascot “Kingsley” into a spot in the center of the defense.

Yes and yes. Let’s find a time to have another epic FIFA rematch next week.

He recently returned from injury so I don’t think it’s a big problem…yet. If he doesn’t get at least one start during West Ham’s next few games, that’s when we should start to worry.

He is currently training separately from the rest of Atlas’ roster, but I’ve seen some reports stating that he could return to training with the rest of the squad by next week.

A progressive Mexican-American woman who would make a “taco trucks on every corner” promise.

I don’t get it either, it’s such a good show. They do a great job of covering plenty of the controversial things regarding the league. For anybody who wants an entertaining and informational guide on things like the Liga MX draft or pacto de caballeros, they need to watch the show.

I wish I had something more sentimental here, but in all honesty, I think one of the top 10 happiest moments of my entire life was when I got a Nintendo 64 when I was around 8 or 9 years old haha. It’s still my favorite video game system of all time.

Smart and practical for a team that is looking to avoid relegation. I’m genuinely interested to see if Edson Puch can thrive with that squad. I think it’s very possible.

First job: Round Table Pizza and I was terrible at making pizzas. I was constantly worried that I would get fired and envied the delivery drivers who got paid more than me. However, it was awesome having an arcade in the restaurant and I got really good at Time Crisis 2 during my breaks. #Memories #PizzaMemories

Club America fans are questioning the move but the midfield partnership of Guido Rodriguez and Joe Corona helped carry Xolos to the #1 spot in the regular season earlier this year. My guess is that Piojo sees plenty of potential by having Corona work with Guido once again.

A veces si y a veces I feel like I need to work on it.

Spanish was my first language, but when my family and I left south L.A. and moved to the suburbs when I was a kid, they thought it would be easier for me to assimilate by only speaking English at home. I don’t blame them for making that decision, and I’ve made a point at refining my Spanish during the last few years. I can translate, write and hold a conversation in Spanish, but there’s always room for improvement.

Cafe Tacuba is easily one of my top 50 bands of all time, so I gotta add them in. Let’s keep this truly Mexican-American and have them perform with The Mars Volta.

Luckily for Queretaro, all that the club needs to do is stay ahead of Veracruz. Queretaro also has a big upper-hand over Veracruz with an 8-point cushion in the relegation table. The match between the two sides during Week 5 is a must-watch for those keeping an eye on which team gets demoted.

Nah, I don’t see any signs pointing to that just yet. My guess is that if Chicharito leaves West Ham, it’ll be after the season is over next summer.

I personally like Cisneros’ style of play so I think it’s a great move for Chivas. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is one of the breakout stars of the 2018 Clausura. Let’s see if there is a potential for him to work with Alan Pulido.

In light of the fact that Piojo stated earlier today that the team doesn’t have the same spending power it once had, I would give it a 6/10. Corona is reliable and a hard-working midfielder that can play very well with Guido. As for Aguilera and Martin, they are decent but not awful. That said, the Martin deal doesn’t make much sense. Definitely fair to be angry about that.

Santos Laguna. The incorporation of Gallito and Isijara could prove to be surprisingly massive for the team. I’ll say that they sneak back into the playoffs.

Strict organization in the backline, no injury problems for key defenders, an efficient performance in the attack that capitalizes on crucial chances and, of course, a bit of luck. It can happen and so can a win for Mexico.
